What
is a racing scanner?
Approximately
the same size and weight as a cordless phone, a scanner and set
of headphones will enable you to privately listen as the drivers
communicate with their spotters and pit crews. You will become
a part of the action, as you hear all of the behind-the-scenes
dialogue! Play-by-play broadcast is available at all times, as
well.

would my people be interested in listening to this?

My
group is in a suite; won't the headsets be obtrusive in that environment?
When providing
scanners for suite use, we will include lightweight, Walkman-type
headphones. These allow your guests to easily socialize and enjoy
the suite food and beverages.

With
all of the other hospitality arrangements, what are the additional
hassles of providing scanners?
The advantage
of our service is that it is completely "hands-off"
for you and your hospitality staff! We appoint a dedicated Flag
to Flag service representative to arrive at the time and place
of your choice, distribute the scanners to your guests, give them
individualized instruction for their use, answer any questions
they may have during the event and collect the scanners at the
end of the race. You do nothing but receive the praise and compliments!

The
majority of our guests are not big race fans; why would we need
scanners?
The irony
of the red-carpet treatment shown to the invited hospitality guests
is that they are likely to be only casual fans, at best. That
being the case, they will often become disinterested soon after
the race gets underway. While you put a lot of time, money and
energy into a generous buffet menu, travel logistics, an elaborately
decorated tent or suite, contests, etc. - your efforts are wasted
if the race itself leaves the guests bored or confused.
For a nominal,
additional investment, our service insures that your guests
will leave with your desired lasting impression! Instead of merely
watching 43 cars go around in circles, the novice will quickly
become immersed into the scene - "behind-the-scenes"...and
you achieve your goal: a delighted, appreciative customer!
Some
of our guests bring their own scanners; why should we use your service?
It has been
our experience that fewer than 5% of all hospitality guests will
actually bring scanners from home. Above and beyond that, we painstakingly
utilize multiple resources to ensure that the frequencies programmed
for your favorite drivers are the most current ones in use (they
change from week to week).
When they
see how easy our scanners are to use, even those who have
brought their own will often opt for a Flag to Flag scanner!

How
are your scanners distributed?
Your dedicated
Flag
to Flag Service Representatives will issue the scanners to
your guests at the time and place of your choosing.

How
will my guests know how to use them?
As the scanners
are distributed, your dedicated Flag
to Flag Service Representatives will provide individualized
instruction to each guest.

Most
of my guests don't even know how to program their own VCR; why would
I want to confuse them with your equipment?
Once you see
our scanners in action, you'll realize how simple they are to
use; in fact, we modify and prepare them so that they practically
run themselves - and our exclusive, customized labeling makes
it a breeze to follow the action.

Which
drivers are programmed into the scanners?
When arranging
your event, we will prepare each scanner with the drivers of your
choice. Additionally, we will place your company's sponsored team(s)
on a priority status; this means that when your driver, spotter
or crew chief speaks, the scanner will always jump right to that
channel. Your guests will never miss a single moment of their
favorite team!

Do
you offer any other services?
Many of our
clients choose to further enhance the experience of their guests
by adding our Pit Tours Communication
Package.
Given the
opportunity, most guests will elect to attend a guided pit tour
prior to the race. Unfortunately, Pit Road is a crowded, noisy
and overwhelming place. The guests will strain to hear the tour
guide over the din of the surroundings. Often, only those who
are standing closest to the front of the pack will be able to
make out what's being discussed. We provide your guide with a
lightweight transmitter and reserve a separate channel on the
scanners from which your guests can enjoy the tour in privacy
and comfort. They will be able to follow along at a leisurely
pace and not have to endure all of the ambient disturbances.

We're
not going to have a hospitality area; can we still use your service?
We understand
that there are occasions when you want to bring a group to a race,
but circumstances are not conducive to reserving a suite or tent
at that venue. We are extremely flexible, and can arrange to meet
you and/or your guests at a bus, a particular gate, hotel, etc.
We are devoted
to customer service and can overcome any potential challenge in
our efforts to serve you.

What
if some of my guests want to leave the race early?
Your dedicated
Flag to Flag representative is at your service for the duration
of the event! Whether your guests are in a suite or the stands,
they will know where they can find our representative at any time.
We are there to answer questions and accept early returns during
the entire race.

Some
of our guests bring children; will they be able to use the scanners,
too?
Actually,
we strongly recommend it! As children tend to have sensitive
hearing, they are often irritated by the unexpectedly loud environment
of a racetrack. Our comfortable headphones effectively block out
much of the ambient noise - thereby saving the day for the youngsters!

What
is the cost of your service?
There are
a variety of plans available, depending upon quantities and number
of races desired. Amazingly enough, we're competitive with - and
often more reasonable than - any of the lower-quality, no-service
